Hi ladies

I had an early scan today (just a reassurance scan as I had a missed miscarriage years ago) and by the date of my last period I am 5 weeks 6 days pregnant today

The scan went well, she said she thinks I'm 5-6 weeks pregnant and that it was too early to detect heartbeat (I knew that might be the case) but that she could see the sac and yolk and the tiny baby inside so everything looked as good as it could do for now without being able to see a heartbeat

On the print out she gave me however I noticed that the CRL measurement was 1.9mm..... I stupidly googled it and this seems quite small for nearly 6 weeks

Does anyone know if this is normal or do you think I could have maybe ovulated later than I thought and I am only 5 weeks pregnant?

One thing to consider is When did you get your BFP? How many DPO...what CD? MOst BFP's arent seen till at least like 10dpo.
Also, Remember this is a measurement, sometimes they arent accurate. ROom for error. On my ultrasounds they have my due date 4 days different than my midwife has my due date by LMP. Are you having any follow up ultrasound? I wouldn't worry right now. and stop googling! :)

I got my BFP on the 2nd December, it was CD 29

Im basing how many weeks/days I am by entering the first day of my last period (4th November) onto the NHS pregnancy calculator and it gave me my due date (which doctor confirmed but was 1 day out.)

But if the sonographer thinks I'm 5 weeks then its a week out

I dont mind if thats the case, i could have ovulated a bit later I guess but 1.9mm just seems tiny from what i've read online and its worrying me now

They wanted to scan me again in a weeks time but i fly to Florida for 2 weeks tomorrow so they are scanning me when Im back x

Honestly i wouldn't worry at this point. The measurement could have been off as well. Just hang in there and try to relax.

Thanks girls, i think i just panicked when i googled 1.9mm as most 6 week old pregnancys are like 3-4mm from what i've read but i did find a site that says 1.9mm is the right measurement for 5 weeks 3 days and this isnt far off what I thought I was so it could still be accurate and maybe I ovulated later

Just have to chill out now and try not to think about it until my next scan in 2 weeks :happydance:
