early scan

Ok so i have a plan...

I plan on seeing my midwife for the 1st time to confirm my pregnancy, however i am going to say that i dont know when my last period was... im hopin as i dont have a date, then they will offer to scan me ( whicH will be about 9wks).... AND I WILL GET PEACE OF MIND.

i didnt want to go down the " im bleeding / cramping" route, just incase i jinxed myself - so this llittle white lie should be ok eh?

Have you enquired about an early scan anyway? - they might just be fine about a reassurance scan.

when i had my mmc in April, i spoke to the midwife at my EPU and asked if i would now get an early scan, and she said NO a im not at any higher risk of another MC..
She then said (off the record) that IF i was to call and say i was cramping, then they would have no option but to suggest an early scan......!

mine was ok when i asked got my friday ill be 6wks 2 days xx
