Hi,

Just wanted some advice?

Thomas has been suffering with bad wind, constipation on and off and the odd runny poo poo. He has been on aptamil first milk, but I bought some easy digest aptamil because I thought that might be better for him. However, it did not occur to me that it would be thicker and that there is quite a big deal to changing from first to easy digest. I am wondering if I shouldn't be switching him at all?

What advice can anyone give me? Does it sound like the easy digest will help? Do I need to buy size 2 teats? Has anyone tried easy digest formula? How long should he stay on this for?

Thanks!

I tried Mia n ED, and it was awful. She got really windy.. dire-rear, and when she would go, it STUNK !!!! I kept her on the Aptamil 1, and for one feed a day, I add an extra ounce of water. SHe is regular as clockwork now.

Also, when I thought she was not being satisfied, I was going to go across to hungry baby aptamil, but on the advice of the health visitor, I upped her teats instead, and this has worked a treat !!!

I would highly recommend the MAM Ultravent Anti-Colic bottles too.

I switched hun!!

I had aptamil easy digest. Then HV advised to go onto cow and cate comfort (which is an easy digest).... and now IM on sma LF!! lol

But yeah with the easy digest you do need a bigger teat (size 2)cos the poor little things cant get anything out!! And they can be on it for like ever...!!

I moved Daisy onto easy digest when she had colic and it was horrible! She is now back on 1st stage.
Daisy was throwing up alot with it and her poo's were really bad!
I wouldn't advise anyone to use it! xxx

My lil one has been on it from day 3 and been better on it than the sma gold we had him on for the 1st 3 days. He now going on SMA LF presribed by the doc. But i had no prob with easy digest :) XXX
