I have 3 beautiful boys 5 year old and 4 year old twins. They all give me hell when it comes to eating they won’t eat eggs, or anything to give them source of protein they are so picky when it comes to food they only wants steak, burgers and pizza and I can’t keep feeding them the same thing over and over. Please anyone with tips that can help me with eating patterns also they would never put any greens in their mouth worried about low iron from that please any tips be appreciated. Thanks .

This sounds like my 5 year old boy! He was always such an amazing eater... but now unless it's a sausage, chicken nugget or pizza he doesn't want to know!

Sadly I haven't come to a conclusion, I'm just hoping he grows out of it as be wasnt always fussy, and hes slowly starting to try things like eggs which he discovered he actually likes. Just keep trying I guess! They wont be fussy forever?

Sorry I'm not much help, but I'm with you on this :haha:

I suppose if they are eating steak and burgers they're at least having protein, iron and B12, cheese on the pizza will also provide some protein and a little calcium, do they drink milk? Would they take cheese on the burger? Would they help you make them sandwiches with cheese on and then eat them because they made them? I know other people say that their children are more likely to try something new if they have helped prepare and cook it.
We eat a huge amount of veg and pulses in our house, mushrooms, eggs etc, we don't eat meat, so although I know we get lots of the key vitamins and minerals I am aware that B12 mainly comes from red meat so every so often we 'top up' with a supplement.
I know it's not ideal long term but would the boys take a vitamin supplement (some of them are jelly like) while they are growing, until they eat a better range?

Atleast with my son he does take a vitamin supplement and has started eating more and more meat, his veg intake is awful but he does eat so much fruit, he wont eat cheese, but he will eat it melted on toast (hes like me, I dont like solid cheese but I like it melted lol I guess he gets it from me) but I guess we cant have it all :haha: my 7 year old DD on the other hand eats better than I do, ask what her favourite meal is and she says anything home made and fresh!
