Ebay and baby items

DO you trust places like ebay for baby items or is it better to get them from recognised companies? Maybe it depends on what it is you are buyiong?

i have bought Riley some stuff off ebay,only new, tagged stuff and you can get a good bargain sometimes. i just personally dont want to get him second hand stuff esp not when he is first born. but it is great for things like when the shops close, they sell the stuff on there for less than half the price, its worth having a look i think. i use ebay for a lot of stuff..

Off ebay i've bought:
*Moses Basket & stand
*Brand new breast pump for £15 thats in mothercare for £50+
*Cot bedding set
*Cot mobile
*Bundle of tiny baby clothes

As long as everythings clean and like new i don't mind buying second hand. You just need to replace any matresses. I've saved ££££££'s which means the stuff i have got new is really nice!

I bought Thomas a few snow suits off ebay when he was younger for 99p each plus postage. They were in perfect condition. I begrudged paying loads for something like that that wouldn't last him 5 minutes!
