I sold a dress on eBay back on October the 31st. I sent off the dress second class as arranged.

The buyer has been emailing me every day saying they haven't recieved the dress yet..... But I sent the dress?...

He's saying still no dress not very happy
Then the next day I'm very annoyed now

Which rightly so he must be if he hasn't recieved it.

What should I do ? I sent the dress weeks ago! He's saying I haven't sent it when I have..., he's not replied to any of my respnces

He's left me negative feedback saying " still not recieved item despite contacting seller several times"

But I've always replied to him

oh no :( Sadly if it wasn't sent recorded you won't have much chance of not having to give a refund :hugs:

Oh no:(. I offered a refund the other day but he said "so you haven't sent it then"

Thankyou :flower:

:hugs:

Yeah just refund him it's easier. If you want cover for if situations like this happen then you have to send recorded.
If he claims through PayPal the money will come from your account anyway, save the hassle and refund him. Tbf he's being a cock about it but still if he's not got his item then you ave to refund. X

Yeah sorry to say but you need to send proof of postage, so will need to refund. Sounds like he didn't receive it then if he keeps asking, which is just as annoying.

Do you have proof of postage from post office? Xx

he prolly did receive it, knowingly it wasn't recorded so is trying to get his money back. bit assholeish if you ask me.

I had someone try and do the same thing (kind of) I had to return my key to my room at uni so I sent it recorded and the claimed they never received it but I looked online and there it was clear as day the managers signature. they wanted £50 for it too, cheeky fecking sods!

Yeah you pretty much have to refund him, I now send everything 2nd class recorded as its just easier that way as there are some arseholes on there!! xx

Have to agree with everyone else it's best to just refund him and leave negative/neutral feedback, there's no reason for him to be an Ahole about it after you have already offered a refund. It was probably gonna be an Xmas present and now he is too lazy to buy anything else. In future just ask for proof of postage when you post stuff, not as good as recorded but its free.

If you have the receipt from post office you can claim back from them. Even if it wasnt sent recorded.

But the receipt would have the door number of the buyer wouldn't that count towards? My post office put the door number and post code where it's going too.

Also as its been over 40 days he cant open a case can he so there's no way to force you for a refund. If you've offered one and hes still being a dick thats his issue.

Haven't you got proof of postage - even if not recorded this will be enough to prove you've posted them as it has destination on it. If I were you I'd enter into dispute via ebay if you do have proof of postage.

If not, reply to his feedback saying item posted (date) never received, refund offered (date). Waiting for buyer to accept refund.

I don't understand why he's waited so long though. If I have a dispute I always go through Ebay, as a buyer or seller (though it's only happened 2 or 3 times in my yeeeeears of ebay) but I contact seller first, accept any refund or replacement offer if applicable etc. The only reason I dispute really is if I haven't heard back from seller after 10 days, and that's only due to the 40 day limit. As a buyer, if a seller had a dispute with me that I felt may turn nasty I'd go via Ebay myself anyway.

This happened to me ages ago, if you have your reciept with his house number and postcode on take a pic and email it to him. refund him and tell him you will claim back from post office x

add them to your blocked buyers list ASAP! on phone but if you search the eBay site it'll tell you how!

If you have a receipt, any receipt you can claim up to £40 back from the post office. Also you should ask them to phone the sorting office. It could still be sitting there. I have had this a number of times.

I've looked everywhere for the reciept and can't find it. I sent the item on the 6th November.

How do I leave feedback for him I've looked but don't know how to? Xx

He doesn't reply to any of my responses just says he still hasn't recieved it :dohh:
X

Hun I would also ask Ebay to remove his feedback, they can look into your account and see youve been trying to contact him but he's not responding. They should class that as unfair feedback x
