I found out earlier this month that I had an ectopic at an unknown gestation. Today they removed it however after surgery I was shocked to find that it wasn't in the tubes! It had made its way to the outside of my uterus!!
Anyone else had this?
My gyno said that this will mean no damage to the tubes and no impact on fertility.

Still mourning my little dot but relieved that it's all over with. Now to recover and get back on my feet.

Sorry for your loss <3 I had an ectopic last spring that they suspected implanted on an ovary as opposed to in a tube. From my research it isn't very common but my dr didn't seem concerned or surprised. Mine was ended medically as opposed to surgically, but once my beta numbers were down everything was back to normal.

:hugs: to you

I had an ectopic and went for surgery then my hcg levels continued to rise, it baffled them so I wasn't sure if the sac had moved but got no answers and I was just relieved when it was over. Such a rollercoaster <3

Big hugs to you, I'm so sorry for your loss :hugs:

I lost my tube with my ectopic, it's rather rare that it was outside your uterus, I'm sure my consultant said it's like 1% chance of that happening x
