Eden... but...

I love the name Eden! It's on my list, I'm not brave enough to ask hubby yet though, he has a tendancy to shoot down all of my suggestions boo to him!

I think Eden Beatty is fine, I would never have actually though to have it shortened to Edie.

My friend daugher is Eden - the only problem was when she was born everyone thought because she was called Eden she was a boy! It is a unisex name but some ppl associate it strongly with one gender (be that male or female). As a name it has really grown on me.

Thanks secret The unisex thing doesn't bother me to much as I grew up with a somewhat unisex name. I have heard of Eden as a boys name but to me it just seems so feminine. In any case I appreciate the feedback... always good to be aware of!
