Thanks everyone.

She will probably have been arrested by now - she was due in court yesterday morning and if she turned up they were going to detain her, and if not, they were going to look for her and arrest her.

We have lived here for 6 years, and the people before us lived here since the house was built. They were a middle aged couple so I don't know....unless she was related to them somehow.

I am pretty freaked out about her giving our address out for the last year, but the police have made sure all the relevant people have been notified.

I'm just glad I opened that, otherwise the police might have turned up looking for her if she didn't appear in court yesterday!

Eeek glad it's sorted!

In my old place we kept getting official letters for a name we didn't recognise. Kept returning to sender but one day one got opened.

Turned out this guy had lost his lisence for drink driving but never returned his lisence and kept getting re caught!! He still had our address on his lisence so we got everything!

From what we could see he'd missed so many court appearances he had a warrant for his arrest!

Annoyingly we rang the courts and the DVLA and neither were interested. We know he didn't live there for previous 20 years but their attitude was 'well he obviously does live there'

Bleeding miracle they never turned up at the door!!
