Egg donation & helping others conceive

Hi Ladies

I have had confirmation that I am eligible to be an egg donor following a scan from the clinic and I am so excited!!

I know it isn't going to be easy with daily injections and all the travelling & scans (not to mention working it around school and a baby) but it is something that I am passionate about doing. I have completed my family and I NEED to do something for others.

Anyone else out there considering donating eggs? Or any ladies that have donated willing to offer some advice?

I've donated twice, sept 2014 and oct 2015. I got 18 eggs the first time and 7 the following time, happy to answer any questions you have

I've donated eggs!! I did it as part of my own IVF cycle in 2013 I got 15 eggs and donated 8 of them.

Sorry I haven't been on in a while.
At the mo I'm just waiting for a consultation and counselling appointment. What exactly does that involve please?

I think my consultation was just getting the go ahead from the consultant and he went over what was going to happen. I possible had bloods done for genetic testing then as well, they took 6 weeks to come back.

I had one counselling session and I took my then husband with me, we both found it really informative.
