I was just wondering if anyone who's previously had an EMCS at around 37 weeks, was then allowed to book their ELCS next time round for about the same gestation?
I had an EMCS because I hadn't felt my son move all day and when they put me on a trace in hospital his heart pretty much stopped so they rushed me straight to theatre. We still don't know the reason he was so distressed and because of that I'm starting to get really anxious about the same thing happening again this time!
The only way I can see to avoid this is by having my ELCS at 37 weeks so I don't have to spend weeks stressing about it after I turn 37 weeks. Do you think the consultant will agree to this? They usually do them at 39 weeks at my hospital I think.
I've got an appointment in 4 weeks to book the date but I just thought I'd see if anyone here has had a similar experience?
Thanks! Sorry for rambling xx
