So long story, but will give you the abbreviated version.

Felt a trickle down my leg this morning and had a slight bit of colored discharge, was told to go straight to hospital by my midwife. Was examined by the dr internally and had a quick scan to check babys heartbeats. Was warned of possible bed rest and or a cervical stich.
Consultant spoke to me afterwards and said that my cervix was closed and there was no evidence of leaking fluid, so infront of my hubby I asked what on earth was it then, she turned around to me and said "you peed yourself, you also did while we were examing you, it is common both in subsequent and multiple pregnancies which you get 2/2 boxes for, and quite often the lady doesn't realise"

Felt a right plonker but over the moon that the babies are both ok. I have my anomoly scan tomorrow and they will double check baby fluid levels, but they don't think there is anything to be worried about. Had my fundal height measured today, she came backk with 33 weeks, no wonder I feel so huge now!!

Hahaha hilarious! But mortified for you at the same time! God I hope that doesn't happen to me. lol

Glad the bubbas are fine & let me know how you get on tomorrow.

xx

haha yep its all pretty embarassing all the way through!!!!! You wait till after if you deliver naturally - eekkkk - I thought I had a prolapse lol

:hugs: I've got a cold now and sometimes when I sneeze I leak too. And I'm only 20 weeks! I didn't even have this at the end of my last pregnancy.

I unfortunately left my bladder control along with my dignity at the doors of the hospital after the birth of my first, so can totally relate lol. I wet myself at 33wks with the twins and thought my waters had gone - have been peeing inadvertantly ever since - goes with the twin territory I'm afraid ;) xxx

I have found that there are times my panties are VERY wet  and I'm not even 8 weeks! I am not sure if it's discharge or pee though

Ah the joys. Yep, I have to be careful when I sneeze or cough.

HAHAHAHAHHA this soooo makes me laugh - oh and 'apparently' 90% of women who deliver twins naturally have pelvic floor issues - something to do with the stretching twice once damages the muscle and twice kills it completelty hahahahahhahahaha Good job they are worth it eh

Oooh you poor thing! I've held my own so far in the leakiness stakes but we'll see how that goes!

So glad the babies are just fine :) I'm sure they see this all the time with twins especially!! Good for you for going and getting checked out just in case....always a good idea I think. So happy everything is fine :)
