Emergency tax code help

So I've been on an emergency tax code since October while working through an agency as the workplace before didn't give me a p45, not sure if they just forgot to send it or if they sent it to the wrong address or what. Does anyone know how I get the right tax code sorted? The agency won't do a p46 for whatever reason :S

Did you fill in a P46 In your new job?

Also if you know approximatley what you have earnt at your other job up to you leaving then call the tax office tell them and they should be able to work out a correct tax code to put you on now.

For some reason the agency didn't do a p46, not sure why though? I will phone the tax office this week and see what they can do
