Empty sac

I am supposed to be 7 weeks 5 days and the sac is empty, at my last scan they estimated that I was 4-5 weeks which was almost two weeks ago. ( by their estimate I should be 6 weeks now?) I'm not cramping and there's no spotting should I have a d&c which is schedule on Wednesday or should I wait and get a second opinion.

No wait! Iam going through this right now, i should be 8 weeks now iv had a few bleeds and 4 scans upto now! they thought i had a blighted ovum.. I went back yesterday for my 4th scan and they was my yolk sac i should be able to see a baby next week! My dates were completely off she has dated me from ovulation not LMP.. And even if i had a blighted ovum i was going to wait till 11 weeks iv read alot of storys this past few weeks on misdiagnosed blighted ovums, Just wait it out as hard as it is

I would also wait & see, it's not going to hurt anything to wait , dates are often way off , best of luck xx

I agree same thing happenrd to me and im now due in 16 days hun just wait it out. Il keep my fingers crossed for you xx

I would wait. There's no harm in waiting longer as baby could just be later than you thought and if it's not meant to be and starts on it's own then you will know for sure. If it doesn't you can ask for the pills over D&C as they don't carry the risks that a D&C does to future pregnancies.

I am also going through this according to LMP I should be 8 weeks but the ultrasound showed a sac measuring at 6 weeks 2 days with no fetal pole they took blood last Friday and will be taking blood this coming Friday again. I would most definitely wait.

I would wait! I delt with just a sac early on but then at 6 wks 5 days saw the baby and strong heart beat!!
