empty sac

has anyone had this

thought i was 7wk 3dys and started bleeding, went for scan, measured 6wks but sac was completely empty to baby or yolk sac.

was then told they also found what looks like a blood clot or 2nd sac, going back in a week for another scan.

bleeding and cramping has stopped, still got really bad morning sickness, actually been sick a few times but this can be caused by the fact the sac is still growing even though empty

anyone experienced this? good or bad

Sorry chick I dont mean to be the bearer of bad news ,but I had this with this pregnancy it was a twin sac and they said exactly the same. Twin sac / heamorage? I bled from 9-16wks
I also years ago had the same thing and went to 12 weeks feeling sick to be told it was an empty sac( sometimes classed as chemical pregnancy) Didnt have no bleeding , spotting or cramps either

Hope things get sorted as it may be different for you- especially if your dates are wrong

hi hun,

dont want to be negative but i experienced this and the sac was still growing but they couldnt see a baby, heartbeat etc, i got told for definite i was having a miscarriage 2 weeks later.
