Ended up in hospital this morning!

So I went for my term+8 appointment with my midwife this morning...
some woman at the clinic asked if she could ask me a few questions about my choice of feeding for baby while I was waiting, but they called me in, in the middle of it.

So got it there, she asked me if I would like a sweep (I refused one for term+7) but again, I said no, Id like to give her the chance to come naturally before friday
Then she rang the hospital and talked to them about my induction, someone is ringing me wednesday to confirm the time I have to go in on friday, but it will be 1pm latest
She then did my blood pressure, and urine sample which were fine, then had a listen to baby....she was listening for what seemed like a lifetime...and she asked when I had last felt baby move, which was last night around 11pm....so she told me she'd like me to go upto the hospital for monitoring!
She said its probably nothing to worry about, she just wanted baby to be checked especially with me not feeling baby for 12 hours!
So I rushed out, to ring my step-dad and the lady who was asking me questions was sat there waiting for me....and I said to her 'sorry, I hope you dont think im being rude, but i've got to go to the hospital' and she said
'Oh its okay, this will only take a few more minutes..please sit back down'
I felt like screaming at her!!!

I got to the hospital anyway, and had a scan.....
My little girlie was laid sucking her thumb(shes gone from fully engaged to 3/5ths the little madam!), and everything was absolutely fine!
Strapped upto the monitor for 40 minutes but everything was absolutely perfect

When I was walking out the hospital I though
'Next time I walk out of here, will be with a baby seat, carrying my little princess home'



Really pointless post to be honest...but just an update from me!

Awh, I'm glad things are okay, but I would just hit that lady trying to ask me questions when there's a possibility something's wrong :/

Hope that your LO arrives before friday for you knowing how these things go, you'll probably go into labour naturally on friday morning before your induction

glad everything's alright I remember thinking the exact same thing when I left the hospital after my last MW appointment, I cried the whole way to the car x
