Hello :) I posted this on the Waiting to Try section but also wanted to post here to get more advice, opinions, and thoughts in general :)

"Hi everyone :flower:

My husband and I are waiting to try until we move, save more money, blah, blah, blah. I'm ready to start trying now though. I have endometriosis and know it could take awhile to concieve. My husbands current job would pay all medical expenses if I get pregnant, however, he doesn't want to stay there forever. As we'd have such an amazing opportunity for financial help with his job, we've thought about sticking around and taking advantage of the benefits. Neither one of us want to live where we are for too long (there's not much here for us), but if we wait to ttc, then we might be here for a lot longer than either of us want. I'm thinking of asking my husband if we should consider starting ttc sooner rather than later since it might take awhile.

My fellow Endo Sisters, how long did it take for you to concieve?

P.S. We are not sure what stage I have  "

Hi there!!

I have stage 3 endo and have also had 10 cm+ endometriomas removed from both ovaries at age 20. I've been ttc for 12 years (actually 18 months ttc with dh #1 and 2years ttc with dh #2; and basically ntnp in between for the most part).

I've only been seeing an endo specialist for the past 8 months and I wish I had gone sooner!! Had a botched lap& laser endo removal in dec 2014 and need to have yet ANOTHER lap, endo excision& hysteroscopy in March before I can even consider IVF.

My advice: get the proper diagnosis & help sooner rather than later. If you can get in with a dr who specializes in endo treatment, even better. Endo not only influences your chances of getting pregnant but your health in general (the constant pain & inflammation can decrease your immunity and cause chronic fatigue).

Having said that- there are amazing success stories out there! When you are ready to ttc, look me up as an endo support buddy :)

Good luck! X

Thank you so much for responding Fern! I'm sorry for all you've gone through (and will do in the future). I still have hope that you may concieve naturally. I've heard a lot of miracles! Thank you for the advise too :hugs: I know it's silly, but I have been hesitant about going to a specialist as it makes it all the more real. Even though I know it's real, and I need to go, I'm just a bit scared. I will do some research for specialists in the area though. I will look you up when I start trying, but hopefully you'll be in the pregnancy section :flower: Best of luck to you as well! Thank you again :hugs:

Im so happy to hear about your miracle girl! I hope you're able to have your other miracle soon :hugs: I don't know exactly how you feel because we aren't trying yet, but I know how depressing it can be with everyone else having babies around you and it's the one thing you'll give the world for. I try to stay positive but it really brings me down too. As for the pain, I've found that a vegan diet helps tremendously. It also makes them 3 days instead of 5-6. AF is here right now and I don't know if I'm going to make it to work today because of the pain. Don't loose faith though. You can message me anytime if you ever want to talk.

Sending you so many hugs mommy; I know how desperate it can feel to have endo and to hate this "alien" growth inside which just causes pain, infertility and heartache. Xx

Hi, I have endo too! My husband and I fell pregnant accidentally about 3 years after my lap and laser... but we are ttc #2 this month so we'll see what happens.

Do you know where your endo is? They told me my ovaries were clear at the time of my laparoscopy.

I had a laparoscopy about 4 years ago, which found mild endo. I was probably ntnp for about 2 years on and off, but probably not being 100% sage for a bit before, then we conceived dd. I never went to dr with fertility as I just thought I wouldn't be able to conceive. I've now been ttc since my periods arrived after dd for about 7 cycles now with no luck. Does anyone here know at what point in the uk people with endo should be seeing the dr about fertility issues? Is it still 1 year?
