I have been told by a few doctors they believe I have it.

My one doctor was pushing birthcontrol, which I couldn't bring myself to take because although its so so painful every month a baby mean't more.

Well its been about 3 years and no baby, still in lots of pain.
I had an HSG, there was some growth in my endo lining that was removed.

but everything else was great, tube's were open!

TTC is my life, but I think its time for me to focus on this endo.
I think it's what's stopping me from getting pregnant.

I want to get a lap done, but my previous doctor said I'm to young.
(I was 20, now 21)

I had my entire colon removed due to IBD 5 years ago, a year after my surgery's is when this began and has been more severe since.

I have a new doctor now who is the one that had me get the HSG thinking it was endo scarring my tube's.

She did my surgery to remove what they thought was a polyp in my endo lining but turned out to be an unknown non-cancerous growth.

I'm thinking of asking to see an endometriosis specialist, or asking about getting a lap.

I'm tired of being in pain, and going to take a month off TTC

If any of you have advice or experience please help.

Endo is awful and the worst part is the lack of studies and knowledge out there on it. I suffered severe endo for many years to the point where I would scream and pass out during my period episodes. I have never experienced such pain and wonder how childbirth will compare at this point!

I was also put on BC for most of my young fertile years to try to combat the issue. It was so frustrating to have that be the "answer for everything" and no doctor could actually cure it. My doctors said getting a lap is a temporary cure and it usually grows back. They said the best cure is having a baby (such a cruel comment at the time as I was ttc unsuccessfully). What is known about endo is that it is due to a hormonal imbalance and there are some recent studies that show a significant link between estrogen dominance and low progesterone and endo.

So my long winded response boils down to what worked for me personally. I went through a barrage of herbal supplements until I found vitex which stopped my pain episode the first cycle. I was so relieved not to have that awful 3-5 hour rolling on the floor writhing in pain that cycle there are no words to describe it! I know the vitex helped my body to rid itself of the endo as well as because during my lap where my ectopic pregnancy was removed my RE was surprised to see only one small spot on endo left and didn't even mess with it.

I truly believe endo is due to a hormonal imbalance and women who have endo all usually have a few other ailments in common because that imbalance effects us in other ways besides fertility related issues. Read up on it and also vitex and decide if you'd like to try that route. If you do keep in mind it can take a few cycles and my immediate response was a bit out of the norm:wacko:

Good luck!

Yes I am aware of it only being temp. I did so research and also found the supplements have helped many. I'm going to purchase them, I'll try Vitex. I have regular cycles like 28-30 days so I worry about messing it up.

I read primrose oil is good one too.. I'm going to follow the endo diet this month as well, see if it makes a difference!

So glad to here yours cleared up!
