I've asked around all the health officials, doctors, breastfeeding specialists, nurses ect about this and no one knows anything. Basically when I have a period I get engorged and I produce too much foremilk which upsets my baby's belly and he get's diarrhea and very fussy and windy. It happened with my other babies too, my other son refused to take breast milk when my period returned so I had to switch to formula. I managed to keep this baby feeding all the way through this time.
