hi there, im trying to work out if im entitled to anything due to the fact ive lost yet another job, the Gov.uk website says if i have worked 26 weeks between 19th feb 2012 and the 15th may 2013 i will be entitled, well i was still working feb this year till the 8th sept, and ive been finding it hard to get work, my last job lasted 1 week 3 days, but im so confused with what help i can get as im going to find it even harder to find work, im due may 27th. any help and advice would be much appriciated (sorry about my awful spelling)

To get MA (maternity allowance) you have to have worked 26 weeks out of that 66 week period - doesn't have to be consecutive. If you were working from feb (02) to sept (09) and then worked 2 weeks at this job, it sounds like you will have worked enough but it could be just short, in which case, just a few weeks temping would be enough for you to get the allowance. You will need to provide 13 weeks of payslips to work out how much you can get. Send in your 13 highest weeks/months worth so that they can work it out for you.
