Epidural or Spinal

Hiya

Okay so I had a planned c-section and had the cannula put in then sat on the op bed while they numbed me in my back. I dont know if I had a epidural or spinal. Lol. I just remember them putting injection into my back and then me lying down

It sounds like a Spinal if they just injected it into your back without having any tubing coming from your back. Did you have tape on your lower back? If not then it was more than likely a spinal. With an epidural they have to tape the tubing in place so that it does come dislodged.

hope that helps... plus I remember the spinal injection hurt really bad than my previous epidural did. glad you had a safe delivery

I dont remember any tubing etc. It was kinda like any other needle (the feeling anyway - just a little sting)
