Erika or Erica?

I've been considering Erika/Erica as a girls name lately (even brought it up with my OH once and he didn't say it sounded like a porn name, which is his habitual response to all my girls name suggestions, so I'm taking that as a win!), but I'm dithering over spelling.

I think I like Erika better, but how would you spell it if you really liked the name?

It also means ever-powerful, which I love love love!

I'm partial to the K spelling...I just think it looks prettier, but either way you can't go wrong. Great choice!

Ericka is the way my step-sister spells her name.

I vote for Erika. It seems stronger.

Erica is softer, classic, and more feminine. Erika is a bit more unique and exotic. So it depends what you're looking for, really! I personally prefer Erica.

You can't go wrong with either one! Both will be pronounced right, both are "proper" spellings, not "uneek" ones.

I prefer Erica. It's softer and more feminine I find.
