Estradiol at 1200 day of trigger? Any inspiring stories?

My E2 came back at 1200 and it is day of trigger. I feel so let down. Does this mean only 6 mature eggs? (they see 4-5 per ovary) I need some inspiration as my positivity has gone out the window!

You sure its not 12000 rather than 1200.if its only1200im surprised theyve triggered you already.mines normally hittin the 20000 when i trigger and even then theyre not all mature.maybe youre growin top grade eggs in there

Have they not been monitoring your bloods Alexa? I know bloods only work when examined alongside your scans? I'd ring your consultant to clarify, 12000 would be great, i was told anything over 15000 by the lister & they'd cancel EC and resort to coasting??
Double check I'm case the figures are off?xx

No they dont.i normally have over 15,000 and havent been coasted yet in all the 3 cycles ive had at the lister.
With a level of 1,200 i woyld expect about 5/6mature follies maybe

Sorry Hayley but i've just undergone EC yesterday and this is what i was told by the Lister - both the consultant and the nurses so perhaps it's something they have recently altered due to increase in OHSS? All i can go on is what they said but either way 'no they don't' is a tad aggressive when i've actually been through it this week.

You put it as if they tell everyone one that and i said no they dont.it all depends on the number of follies and your e2 if theyll coast you or not.in my case i normally have nearly 20eggs collected each time with e2 nearly hittin20,000 and never have been coasted and i have pcos and high risk of ohss each time.all depends on each person.but the dont coast everyone when they hit 15,000.

First of all, I think they measure with an extra "0" over there in the UK as I have never heard of anything like 15,000! It's normally like 1000-3000, 5000 max or they consider OHSS. SO I think 12,000 would be equivalent to the US's 1200? I dunno. Will have to look (didn't find anything).
Boy, emotions are high in here. Didn't mean to make this a boxing ring! Thanks for the responses guys and yes, we are all emotional going through this thing. I hope everyone's IVF's work out! All of us!
