Are evap lines common with these tests?

i am 10dpo and did a test this morning, i completely forgot i did the test and when i went back to look a few mins ago there are 2 lines, the control line is normal but the other is pink and thin (very very faint).

Any input would be great as im going out of my mind i wish id looked earlier.

We're going to need a picture. :)

 i kind of took it apart to inspect and got frustrated so it is now in the bin, i thought id wait 2days to test again :dohh:

I think I read on this forum that FRER doesn't have evap lines

did it have two lines on the spongy part as well? I took mine apart and noticed them but thought they mite all be like it

No lines on the spongy part just a bit of left over dye, iv ordered some cheapies so i will wait till they arrive to test again fx'd it isnt an evap line x

I've done lots of FRER and never got an evap, even days later it's always perfectly white. I'd say it's a BFP IMO.

I dont want to get too excited because i had a mc in nov and have been trying since..i will test again asap and hopefully get a darker bfp

I hope it's your BFP Mummy. Keep us posted

This is what my weak FRER positive looked like the other day:

I too am not getting too excited because I don't have a problem with early tests, it's KEEPING them positive that seems to be the kicker for me. I keep having chemical pregnancies but anyway, I thought this might help you. I can also tell you that the FRER from when I got pregnant with my son 3 1/2 years ago looks exactly the same as it did the day it showed positive (we kept it, it always makes me smile when I come across it). I don't think evap lines are common with the frers.

mines a little lighter than that but can see it without holding to light or anything...your look like definite bfp's :hugs:

If it was pinkish in colour I'd say a :bfp: !!! I do think FRERs can have evap lines though because I took one yesterday and after the time limit, a thin white line came up and was pretty obvious! There was absolutely no colour though so it couldn't be anything other than an evap line. Good luck and can't wait to see your next test photo!! :D

I think they do get evaps sometimes. I think I got an evap two days ago. Came up rather quickly and was colorless.

BFP thoughts your way!!

the evaps that FRER's give are usually not solid lines. There will be color at the top and at the bottom and the middle will be mostly white. Only way to be certain on whether it is a positive or not is to retest(but you already knew that! :winkwink:) Good Luck!

Well tested again this morning and same thing, took test apart again:blush:, and there is definitely a line came up in the time given but it doesnt look pink :nope:...it would be just my luck to get 2 evap lines on 2 diff tests x

frer dont tend to have evap line so looks like a bfp =) sticky baby dust to u hun =)

Well did another frer and a line came up in 2mins, very light still but now it looks like its disappeared :-/.
