Evaporations lines getting darker every day???

I know they are horrible but they are all I have in the house so I have been testing with the evil blue dye tests since 10dpo (Im now 12dpo) The first one had an evap line after 10 minutes and I squinted and tilted and stood on the roof with it trying to see a line before then. Yesterdays line seemed to show up faster and was a bit thicker and the evap line was a little darker. Todays is the same thickness as the control line and a bit easier to see and the evap line is much darker. None of them really show up much on a camera. I tried to catch it, Please tell me what you think. Has anyone heard of anything like this or is there maybe a chance this is actually a positive? I did a FRER yesterday and it was stark white. DH stole my car today so Im stuck without the option of getting any more tests!

This is the same test 2 hours later! Yesterdays evap was half as dark. Im so frustrated.

hun to me thats positive but i could be wrong when can you get another test?

The second one looks positive I know but that was 2 hours after I took it so Im confused. You look like you have a lot of experience with positive tests so its nice to hear that you think its a good one! Have you used the blue dye ones before?

ah right i get you now, if it was 2hrs later then i wouldnt trust it but it would be enough to give me hope, can you test tomorrow?

Hubby just told me that he wants to be here when I test. Last time he said he didnt want to know until I knew for sure. I dont want to get his hopes up so I think I'll have to wait until after Thursday when the witch is supposed to show up. I would generally ignore the evap lines but every test has a darker evap line. I dont know why they sell them, They are really just horrid mean tests!

well i have tested alot with blue line tests in the past and have gotten evaps but never like yours i can even see a line in the first one! x x

Thanks Ive used them before but these lines are definitely a first for me.

I thought you werent supposed to read them after ten minautes because it can give you a false positive?!?!!? Well thats what my clear blue tests say in the directions.... But i do see the faint line in your pictures! Im confused though are you able to read them after ten min? I always have thrown mine away after 8 min......

no she is saying that the first pic the faint line came up within 10mins and the second pic is 2 hours later which she knows she cant go by i just think with the faint line in the first pic it would give me hope and make me go and buy another test.

... and its the third test in a row that the line has shown up after the 10 minute mark... and they are all darker than the one before!!! Sigh.

buy a red dye test asap and save your fmu whatever day your buying the test, its the only way to know

I agree, you need to use FMU to give you the strongest result. FX for you x x x x

that is a sainsburys blue test isnt it? i never got a dark line for my positive on that i ended up taking 4 of them and when i got to 17 dpo it came up within 30seconds but very light looks positive to me

Well Im stuck wondering until Saturday. DH wants to be here when I test... I wont mention the ones I have already done AF is due to be here tomorrow so I'll just cross everything I can cross hoping she doesn't show up!

I had to update this post in case anyone is in the same boat and reading this. I went nuts trying to find an updated evap line post! Turns out the days of darker and darker evap lines were trying to tell me something. I got my unmistakable BFP last night!!

Hey i heard that evaporation lines do not line perfectly like a BFP that looks positive too me xx
