excited about positive OPK!

I feel a bit silly but I have only just started using OPK's this month, and today is CD16 for me and I have a positive OPK and I am so excited about it!

I think its because I have never used them before but anyone else get excited about positive OPK's or is it just me being ridiculous ha?

Im using IC OPK for the third month running and each month Ive never had a really dark line....I tend to get a darkish line around cd14 which is when im meant to ovulate. Im also trying the smep plan this month which means when you get a positive BD three nights in a row then have one night off then BD again the next night.....Soooo get BDing like mad hun......Good Luck and baby dust to you x

I was going to upload a picture of it but I dont know how.

I thought it was positive yesterday but today the line is darker than the control line!

I am making sure that we BD every day. I wanted to try SMEP but I dont think I know my cycles well enough yet to try it, but we have started using preseed so fingers x for both of us xx

Im on my phone hun so it wont let me see your pic but if the line is darker than your control line then thats a def positive! I used pre seed last monthh but was no good for me Still got some left so going to use it this month too....when I ovulate x

ahh Im normally on my phone but i managed to get to a computer today! yes its definately darker.

might sound like a silly qustion, but do i keep using OPKs until it says negative again, and do u calculate from the first positive OPK do you know?

I continue to use my ovulation test strips till cd24ish.....just to make sure I dont ovulate later in the month as some women ovulate twice in the month....its up to you really, do you use IC or expensive tests?

No just IC, thought about getting digital ones but will wait a few months i think before trying them if i dont get my bfp.

I will keep using them then for a few days just to see what happens will have to pop out to buy some though as the ones i ordered online havent arrived as early as i thought x

Well the non digital I tested midday and I'm pretty sure that was positive and then digital around 4pm, I can't wait to test for things lol.

When are you using opk? X

Hi ladies....Karleyflower congrats on getting your smiley face, time to BD like mad hun!!! lol! Im thinking I will buy some digi ovulation tests next month if im not preg this month, they seem like a much more hassle-free process!

Im skint this month (as ive booked to go on holiday) so im using the last of my IC then hopefully next month I can get the digi's if I need them lol!
