well its way too early for me tto be in here, but im very excited and also dreading the whole thing hahaha....

my daughter (number 1) was 18 hours very straight foward, pretty much a perfect labour and birth..... but wow it was painful.........

contractions i managed on gas and air and could deal with them, but i cant for life of me shift that burnig stinging sensation out of my mind as the head is born hahaha.... it gives me nightmares nearly 3 years on... no tearing and no stitching so not as painful as i guess it could hae been BUT MY GOD lol.....:haha:

my son (number 2) who was sadly stillborn at 24+3weeks:cry: was a whole different story.... contractions because i was induced were more intense and becaue of the situation i considered an epi but the labour/birth was only 3 hours so didnt need it:thumbup:, and i remember as he was about to be born asking emma (close friend and my midwife) if it was going to hurt and i was petrified of this stinging sensation again, but thankfully it waas amazing, little charlie felt like a poo coming out the wrong hole :haha:

soooo im well excited for the labour, but i dont want to push number 3 out lol...... IF we dont count charlie as he was only tiny with small head, is the horrendous stinging burning sensation as head is born going to be as bad as i remember?????? :nope:

The thing i remember most was how weird it was pushing my youngest out. It was all nobbly and bobbly lol. No 1 was a c-sec so even though i'd gone through a whole labour before i hadn't actually pushed one out so no2 was a bit of a shock. I honestly can't say if it'll be as bad as you remember.

nobbly and bobbly i love that.... At end of my 1st i was begging for c section lol.. midwife was like kayleigh the head is born lol... your a bit late

lol. i was the opposite - they had to cos me into theatre saying they will do an assisted delivery with forceps cos i was going to refuse the c-section! When they got me in it was like 'oh no won't work section it is then' Not that i cared by then!!!! Natural was a lot easier for me - much easier to recover from. The nobbly bobbly bit did leave me feeling squeamish for quite some time though lol
