I just got excited thinking about stripping all the diapers that have been sitting around for a year to make them clean and comfy cozy for a new baby!
I have mostly bumgenius, with some econobum covers thrown in. All the bumgenius microfiber inserts got totally rank so I pitched them, we replaced them with flats to stuff into the bumgenius shells and those worked fine for my then 2-year-old.
Any advice on what to stuff the bumgeniuses with for the next kiddo, and what to buy for baby #2? I'd like to avoid synthetics, mostly because my front loader just does not get them clean. I want to try out flips, but I don't like how cotton inserts feel after a while (all scratchy, but maybe I'm washing them wrong) and would want something between baby and absorbent layer.
