anyone else just expressing?

i was using a Manual pump and could get 3-4oz out one breast n 5-6 out of other but i caught mastitis twice so got electric pump to help empty more. the first couple days went well n now im not getting much out with electric pump but yet i get tonnes out with manual. anyone else noticed this?

Yes I do. Not only do I get slightly more, it comes out a lot faster with a manul pump!

I just started expressing a few days ago but I haven't used a manual. I have a medela swing pump and it works really well. After my milk came in in day 3 it's been pretty easy sailing on the expressing front. I usually get more out of one breast than the other it seems to be which ever boob I pump second so I've been rotating and starting with on breast at one pump and then rotating and starting at the other breast at the next pumping. This is all new to me so just kinda guessing as I go glad I'm not alone on the expressing front though
