hello first trimester ladies i was wondering if any of you are still exercising or have you crashed and burned a bit like me ?

Crashed and burned! I was doing Zumba 4-6 days a week and had lost 10 lbs...wanted to lose 10 more. Got my bfp and I haven't exercised since....I've been meaning to....I'm just waiting for this soon to be second tri burst of energy to get me going :)

Crashed and burned. Pre-pregnancy I was dancing 5-6 days a week. Decided to stop once I saw the BFP, but hoped to start walking. I was good about it for a couple of weeks but this week I've just been feeling too badly. One of these days I'll get back to it...

I didnt excersize much before i got pregnant but i try to go for a long walk every day during the weel.

I did crash and burn, but not completely. I make myself get some sort of physical activity for at least 30 minutes 3x a week. It's hard, but It helps with fatigue! If I push back the "blah" to walk, or dance, or do Turbo Fire, then I feel much better afterward, and the next day. It's just hard to get up and do it!

I pretty much crashed and burned, too! I still tell myself I'll get back into it. I have gone to the gym a handful of times since BFP, and done Zumba twice (we just started it at my work 2 weeks ago). Hoping to start feeling well enough to do something 3-4 times a week.

I was going to the gym 5 days a week, Zumba and the Elliptical for an hour each day but I haven't gone since the BFP. After two miscarriages I'm not willing to do anything that could hurt the pregnancy. I know it probably wouldn't but the what if would drive me nuts.

I've crashed and burned soo badly! lol. Before my pregnancy, I went to the gym 7 days a week. Even now, it's a struggle to find energy to make it 3 days a week. I feel so lethargic and lazy lately :(.
Hubby's been great and is doing some of my share of the housekeeping. Gotta love him.

yep i was going exercise game/dvd at home to aid with weight loss to help with conception and ive done a couple of workouts since bfp but im so worried the big burst of energy may hurt bubba-bean, we had been trying since 08 so im trying hard not to risk it i went walking yesterday which was lovely my but my back hurt :dohh:

I've definitely taken it down a notch but im not giving up completey. Just going to switch to low impact aerobics and light jogging. It's good to kee exercising within reason.

I have actually been back to the gym today for the first time in 12 weeks! It felt good to be back I only did 40 mins and very light exercise but it's better than nothing. Hoping to get back to going 3/4 times a week if I can maintain the energy!

I've just done my keep fit dvd tonight and feel lots better for it! Its a bit scary exercising so early in the pregnancy but give it a go and just take it easy :)

Don't know whether to keep climbing. Usually I climb once a week at an indoor climbing wall, Dr says it'll be fine but I don't know.

I was going to start Zumba as part of my new year get fit plan!!, however the day before I was supposed to start I got my :bfp:

I really want to start some form of exercise so I dont turn into a beached whale ... I am 6 weeks and look and feel huge already!

Anyone got any advice or suggestions about what I could start doing?
My only form of exercise at the moment is opening the fridge!! :haha:

xx

I was doing Zumba/body balance/body attack every week stopped just before Xmas. Got BFP before went back and now given up the classes. Would have continued with zumba as unlike the other 2 it is low impact but not paying gym membership just for zumba so walking couple of miles 2 - 3 times per week

Swimming and walking, or light jogging should be ok, just don't take up anything too energetic! Especially if you aren't used to it x

If a gym isn't available to you, you could sign up for a prenatal yoga class. In my town, the only prenatal yoga classes are during the day; when I'm at work. What my midwife suggested instead is to take a gentle yoga class and just tell the instructor that you're pregnant. They should offer pose alternations that are safer during pregnancy. There are also lots of great guided workouts on youtube :).
Even walking to the grocery store instead of driving (and having your hubby pick you and the groceries up there) is a big help :)
