I'm on my 3rd cycle TTC and have run into a bit of a dilemma.
I used a pack of OPK strips last month and was able to nail down my exact O date, so I left a few in the tube to use for this month. The tube says "Do Not Use After 30 Days." Tomorrow will be day 30, so I planned on getting fresh ones then.
Theoretically, the remaining strips from last month should still be good. However, I've been using them for the past 6 days and everyone strip is the exact same light colored result. This wouldn't be odd, considering today is the first day of my fertile window. BUT I've been getting EWCM and my cervix has felt wide open the past three days.
Could the strips have lost their sensitivity? Anyone had a similar experience? I'm going to buy new ones tomorrow and hopefully figure out if I am going to ovulate early. DH and I are BDing and using preseed (since I don't normally get EWCM) so hopefully we haven't missed it.
