Extending name

We had our DD back in October, Everleigh, Lauren that's on her birth certificate. We are christening her in February. We had a few miscarriages and this was an iui baby DS was ivf. I'd like to add the name Rain to her name. Can I do that? Can I add names to her birth certificate. I'd love to put a name with meaning in there

I think it depends where you're from, but I'm pretty sure you can change your baby's name before they turn a year old.
Hopefully someone else can correct me if I'm wrong

I think in the uk you can change a name before their 1st birthday, after that you would have to pay. I know someone who changed their baby's name at about 6 months after their dad died and they didn't seem to have any problems.
