extra breast tissue...

So with DS I ff. My situation has changed and I would be able to bf this time but I have a question.
When my milk came in before I had a mass under my armpit... my dr told me I had extra breast tissue (a third boob) So there was milk produced there as well.
My question is this, if I were to bf would I have that mass there all the time? Would it become engorged? Am I the only one with a hidden third boob?

I have this!!! Never knew anybody else with one!

I've had my "third boob" as long as I can remember. It is always there. When my milk came in I didn't notice much difference. The few times I got engorged it got a little sore, but nothing unbearable.

Almost 17 months into breastfeeding and my armpit boob hasn't been a problem at all.

I didn't even know I had it until my milk came in. It was so bad I couldn't put my arm down!
So it doesn't hurt unless you are engorged?

I've no experience with this but I assume it would be the same as if you only BF from one breast - the other would stop producing milk eventually
