Extremely high hcg levels 5w3d?

My levels at 4w5d were 2200. Yesterday, at 5w3d, they were 17,000!!!!

Has anyone else had levels this high and everything been fine?

Also, when looking at the normal ranges, my levels are extremely high for the 5 week range. I read on another forum that if you're over the certain week mark by a day, your reference is actually for the next week. So, if you're 5w3d, you're hcg reference range is actually for 6 weeks. If this is true, then my levels are perfectly in line.

Does anyone know if this is true?

They sound fine to me. I had very high hcg levels as well, and just a singleton.

At 5 weeks mine were 500 something cx

At 6 weeks I was at 26,000 with a singleton

At 6 weeks mine was 90,000 and everything turned out fine. Second time round hcg was even higher and coupled with other blood tests gave me a high risk of downs syndrome (1:20) but everything turned out fine too!

4+5 - 2200
5- 4400
5+2 - 8800
5+4 - 17600

So on either the day of your first or 2nd draw you were prob right on the cusp of going up because that's only off by one day at the normal rate of doubling every 48 hours

Mine were 21,200 at 5+3 & 59,500 by 6 weeks.
