has anyone been for an eye test whilst pregnant or relatively soon afterwards?
i went the other day as ive started getting head aches and sore eyes and the optician informed me i had astigmatism in both eyes and would need glasses.
a friend kindly told me not to get the glasses as your eyes can go skew wiff whilst pregnant but they should return to normal soon after.
this was backed up by a nice lady in boots optician who i just happened to be chatting to. she said the first opitician shouldnt have even agreed to test me so soon after birth. i had the baby with me when i went for my test so they cant say they didnt know!
im contemplating going back to the optician and asking for a refund but im really not sure what to think at this stage. anyone got any similar experiences or advice?
