Faint faint BFP at 17dpo just after heavy bleed/period?!

Hi ladies,

Please give me your advice, me and my hub have been trying for 5 months.
This cycle, on 8dpo I had pink spotting, and 12 dpo I had tiny brown spotting. Since about 10dpo I have felt sick.

I had 24hours of heavy bleeding at 15/16dpo, then nothing. Weird as my AF usually starts on 14dpo for 4 days, and then it trails off. Never experienced this before.

17dpo (FMU) I got a faint faint faint bfp on a IC that got darker throughout the day, however a superdrug test I did came out neg, and they are supposed to be sensitive?

18dpo (FMU) I got exactly the same on an IC, it didn’t seem any darker? The lines showed up in the time frame though really really faint. Ive booked an appointment for docs but I am worried about showing her the test because you can see it but only just and I’m worried she’ll dismiss it.
I think I probably am pregnant, but I am confused as to why the line didn’t show up on the other more expensive test, and I don’t want to go out and buy a digi because I doubt my HCG is enough for that yet.
I am also worried because if that was my implantation bleed - I had a lot of blood for that 1 day and I used tampons thinking it was the start of my period until it suddenly stopped completely! Has anyone has this?
I promise I will keep updating you all on whether I’m preg or not, I hate unfinished threads with no answer!

IC are usaully more senstive some measure at 10 where the ones you get in the shop measure from 20 i think the superdrugs one are 25.

some people experience bleeding but still go on to have healthy pregnancy's xx

I had the same thing, thought I started my period early and used a menstrual cup and then it had stopped by the next day whih was weird for me, I never have one day periods. I had been spotting light since 2dpo and "just knew" until the day of bleeding threw me for a loop. I tested the day the bleeding stopped and got a suuuper faint bfp, then tested on 11, 13 and 15dpo with increasingly darker tests, so even with the bleed my levels were climbing. No bleeding for a few days and then spotting again. Got a blood test which was positive but "low" at 81 at 5 weeks. She ordered another one but the day after getting my bloods taken again I started bleeding and the doctors told me I had had a miscarriage as my numbers had decreased to 53. I really hope that yours turns out positive, though. There was no reason given for why mine ended, so probable cause was just a defect that made my angel not fit for life. I'd be getting bloods done. Could mean a few things, early MC, ectopic or pregnant.
