Faint faint faint lines 8-9 dpo. Updated with 9-10 dpo pics.

Good morning everyone -

I'm 8dpo today and tested with a wondfo's. I have tested in the past with these tests and have never seen ANYTHING. I've had stark white pregnancy tests always.

So, I sat there with a timer on my phone and saw nothing. 5 minute time window exactly. After about 7 minutes had passed (I was just sitting in the bathroom reading something, being lazy), I picked the test up to throw it away and saw the faintest line. My husband could see it too but he said it was likely an evap (he doesn't know that term, but said "that looks like where the dye sits for a positive test..but it's so faint"). I'm guessing an evap as well, since it was outside the time window?

I have never had an evap before, so it's hard to not be excited to see SOMETHING in that usually stark-white window.

Any thoughts? Talk me down, tell me it's really an evap if you think it is, please, or i'll be devastated tomorrow if it's completely negative.

Hi, I see a hint of something on original test pics and a definitive line on tweaks so it does look promising, it also looks about right for an 8dpo positive I'd say.
I've never had an evap only had stark white or positive so I may not be best to give advice on evaps I'm afraid.

I can see a v. faint line on the originals and it's clear on the tweaks. Is the time limit on those tests 10 minutes or 5 minutes? Fingers crossed for you x

Thanks for the input everyone - it says to read these tests at 5 mins and I didn't notice this line until 7 or 8.

It could be an evap if it's outside the time limit - only thing you could do would be to test again to be sure, GL x

I couldn't help myself and tested again this morning, even though it was with 2nd morning urine. I have a ton of wondfos so I figured I'd drive myself crazy and pee on more sticks.

Here's the photos - the top test is the first one I took this morning with the very faint line. I COULD see lines on the 2nd two - the middle test is with 2nd morning urine from the same batch as the first test I took - the bottom test is from a different batch of tests. I used the same pee in a cup for the bottom two tests.

The lines are very hard to see in the regular photo (they are VERY faint) so I did a tweak as well. The tests with 2nd morning urine had the faint lines appear just at the 5 minute mark. I asked my husband to look and he said he couldn't see anything. Can you see them? Am i losing my mind??

Hmm... I have those same ICS & thought I saw a line could barely see it 9dpo. I'd say try a frer. Good luck!

That is exactly how my line looked at 7/8 dpo and it didn't appear until around 10 mins, by 10 dpo it was much clearer. I thought I was imagining it but like you I had only ever had stark white tests!! - why don't you ask your dh to poas and see whether he gets a similar line - that way u know if they are a dodgy batch.

I have been losing my mind a little bit...I did get a first response. Here's the test. Can you see a line? It showed up well within the window. Am I going crazy?

I tweaked it also..my husband keeps telling me to CALM DOWN because it's SO faint lol.
