I hate winter. We had a snow storm today, and the temp has been below freezing. I was walking to my bus stop after work, and ending up falling on an ice covered sidewalk. I'm 23+4 today, and was already having a bit of pelvic pain (just general soreness and stiffness, like pulled muscles, sort of) but after my acrobatic fall, its gotten worse. Pretty sure I did the splits before landing hard on the side of my knee.
I'm not having any abdominal cramping, or bleeding, and I can still feel the baby moving around, bit my doctors office is closed until 830am, and I don't know if I should spend all night in the ER or just call my doctor in the morning.
Have any of you ladies fallen around this time? What did you do? If you called your doctor, what did they say?
Thanks

I had a slip on ice last week. Called the doctor and she assured me that he has lots of protection and just as long as I didn't fall on my stomach and that I didn't feel any other discomfort not to worry too much.

Babies have lots of cushioning, so as long as you didn't fall on your stomach you should be fine. However, I know that if I fall, I have to get a shot because my blood type is B- and if any blood crosses the placenta, my immune system could attack the baby. So you may want to call your doctor about that if you have a negative blood type. And I would call them anyways, just to be safe. That's what they're there for :)
