fall out with a friend

urgh yesterday my friend txt me as we were meant to take our boys to swimming today, and i txt her back as my son had bad diarreah i didnt know whether we would be going.
she said...
'ok dont worry we'll rearrange for another time'

and today we popped to the docs, ash was fine anyway but hes been complaining of a bad tummy and diarreah about 2-3 times a week the last few weeks.
and then we decided on a wim to go swimming, and my friend and her son were there, she said hi but acted off and i explained about my son and she left after 30mins and didnt say bye.
and her facebook status is 'i hate liars' which im assuming is at me.
i understand she probably thinks i just didnt wana go with her but thats not what happened and i explained that, after the docs we literally just got in the car and went.
feeling quite upset about this, am i in the wrong and should i txt her?

It's just a misunderstanding hun- things like that can happen. I don't blame her for having hurt feelings though- but it's not like it's you did this on purpose. Just send her a message saying you sincerely weren't trying to get out of being with her and maybe organize something fun for you and your sons to do together.

I would let her stew for a while, it's her own fault for jumping to conclusions. I'd probably then contact her in a couple of days, asking when she wants to go swimming again as you obviously didn't get to spend as much time in the pool together as you would've liked to and see what she says.
