As the title says really. For the past 2 days Archie Archie has fallen asleep during most of his feeds after 3-4oz rather than drinking 5/6oz, is this a teat problem? i think ive read on here about different teats. Im currently using toppee tippee 1 and Avent 2 just cos of the bottles really. Im not sure if its the weather as its so humid. Any ideas ladies? :nope:

It could be the teats but he is still quite young maybe for the next size teat. Maybe worth a try, if not it could just be the weather. Molly has been terrible at taking her bottles lately.

My Little girl is exactly the same lately. It seems to be particularly on warm days. I wouldn't be too worried as long as he is putting on weight, I'm sure he would let you know if he was stil hungry

i use the tommie tippe vari flow teats, that may help and its suitable for his age

my LO falls asleep constantly while feeding!!! have now been advised to try having cool water and cotton wool nearby and dripping it on her forehead to wake her up, or wiping face with it

also, to try blowing on her face or moving teat slightly near to mouth as they often panic and think you're removing it and that can remind them to drink again

hope some of these suggestions help...

rhys did that at 3 wks old and i put him onto number 2 teats, the way you got to think of it is he wouldnt fall asleep if he was hungry so i'd just follow what he's doing at this stage

xx

We put noah onto vari flow teats after about 10 days. He was exahausting himself with the first teats and falling asleep. What formula do u use? We use c&g comfort which is really thick and just wouldn't flow thru the teats

i use the SMA yellow formula, he seems to be better now, if anything he's finishing his bottles now and wanting more so i think it was the weather. Thanks for your advice x
