Falling asleep when feeding

Hiya

My baby is just over 11 weeks old, she used to be really really greedy and she wud finnish every bottle

from about 3 weeks she was having 6 oz every 4 hours

now she seems to want feeding every 3 hours BUT she does not finnish it and its not that shes just had enough she goes to sleep

this has only been having for about 5 days , EVERY time she has a bottle she just falls to sleep after about 4oz, I try my best to wake her up but it doesnt work

she is on Aptimil 1 by the way


any ideas whats going on?

You could try feeding her in just a vest or just a nappy so she is cooler. She probably wouldnt fall asleep cool

My lo used to fall asleep at nearly every feed up until she was about 2 months old.... I asked the hv what I could do to wake her and she suggested changing her nappy when she falls asleep coz the cool air on lo would wake them up. Worked with us, tho it doesn't help that my lo is such a sleepy head anyway( takes after mummy!)
