Like some sort of wicked April fools joke, this mornings test was negative and I immediately started spotting. 5 days early.

Guess it was a chemical.

Thank you for the kindness ladies. I took a few days away from the forum to get my head together. We've cried some, eaten some cake, grieved.

I spoke to my doctor over the phone, he thinks theres nothing I could have done. And that potentially this loss was likely unrelated to my previous ones. But who really knows?

Hubby and I have spoken at length as to whether we keep going down this awful path, and we've come to the conclusion that we'll try once more, but will only bear one more loss, after that it's time to accept that it's not meant to be and stop putting ourselves through this.
