hi all am a carer to a 3yr old with fas i have had her since she was one i recieve dla middle rate for her so it must be quite severe does anybody have a child who has this condition would apprecaite any information on what to expect in the future she starts nursery soon and i have been allocated a full time special needs assistant for hor thanx

I have supported a young man with this although prob no use to yourself - areas of support included slower movements ie walking with a wider gait, may need support maintaning attention, low body weight. Hope these issues do not dishearten you as everyone is different and getting such good support at such a young age will assist greatly. Good luck at nursery x
