I am planning to begin my diet after I give birth, and I've heard of fasting for 24 hours or so before the diet to "flush out" the system. It's worked heaps for my mom and sister, so I'm considering this.

However, I am planning to BF and was wondering if this would affect my milk supply at all?

Fasting will only result in a drop of water weight (along with perhaps the mental push that some people need) ~ whether or not a 24 hour fast will affect your supply, I'm not sure, I'd like to say "YES, DON'T DO IT" but realistically... probably not. But please give yourself, your mind, your body a break, nursing not one but two babies (incl. a newborn) is a lot of trauma to the body as it is.

Far as I'm aware you need feed yourself plenty food to feed your baby.
Why nursing mind cant go below certain calorie intake.

If you've never exercised, had poor diet now, changing your diet, uppering watet, startibg exercisr programme alone could start fast loss off.

I lost 30lb pretty easily by doing both.

It is really not recomended if you are breastfeeding.
