Does anyone else have the santa that comes round the street on a milk-float type thingy with helpers collecting for charity?

We moved out of the area where we grew up and he used to come every year but when we moved we never saw him in our new area, but NOW HE'S JUST BEEN!!!

Made me cry too I love watching all the older kids chase and follw him and all the youngers ones being brought out by thier mums to see santa - its so heart wrenching!

Reminds me of all the other children that need remembering especially at this time of year!

Sorry to end on a sad note.

Does anyone else have something like this?

yes we have one of those too and it always brings tears to my eyes. its just so emotional for some reason seeing santa with the music and elves walking down the street and all the kids so excited and happy. feels like xmas really coming when i see ours on the street.

Oh its lovely - its like a milk float type cart all dressed up with lights and reindeers a bit like this:

And they play xmas music really loud - its like something off Home Alone (without the comedy!)

and the helpers knock on your door for charity collects - its really tugs on your heart strings

We have that for the Childrens Hospice. Last year santa came to our house for the first time, we got pics with him and he gave the two boys presents all for a donation for the hospice. Dec got stacking cups and dan got a brain game, it was lovely

Aww yeah definantly. You should take Liv to prendoolys as santa and an elf is there all through december. Sharon the owner was telling me last week. Im gonna go and take him although he will probably cry. lol. xx

We have it, last year my son ran up and jumped on the step, the vehicle moved forwards with him on it, he spent the rest of Christmas telling everyone how he rode with Santa on his sleigh,lol.

Its near the station in town. Its a big playcentre. They have a baby play area, slides, balls etc. Ive been going with my friend. Its great and Roman loves it. LO's under 1 get in for free and adults are £1.
