after posting my last thred on here (dunno if u saw it)
some people suggested the name faith..
i want a name thats not so popular but i like faith so thinkin of spellin it ina different way..what do u think of Fayth?xx

Not really a fan of alternative spellings, she'd have to spend her entire life spelling it out for people too! Faith is nice though

I don't care for the name Faith but I did read your other post and I think that for an alternative for what you first wanted it would probably be a good alternative. Fayth is better, a little different. I'm all for creative spellings, takes a common name and at least makes it a bit different. And yes she'll have to correct people on the spelling but she'll get used to it, I've always had to do the same thing but it's no big deal.

i really love the name faith, and quite like the alternative spelling (see our 'madeleine' i quite like different spellings ) but i think i prefer it the traditional one if i'm honest

I'm not completely against alternative spellings but I'm not keen on 'Fayth'...think Faith looks prettier and I don't think it'd be fun to have to keep saying you were called 'Fayth with a y', But that's just IMHO.

I'm not keen on alternative spellings to be different. I honestly think Faith is unusual enough to not need a different spelling. It stands out enough anyway.

I agree with the comments about having to spell her name out.
