I'm 14+5 so i'm new to the 2nd trimester, but I'm starting to get worried because it seems like my sore BBs and nausaue has all but disappeared. I haven't gained any weight (despite being hungry and eating way more than Im used to) and so as you can image I'm worried about a missed misscarriage. I dont have an other docotor's appointment for another 10 days, but it's going to be torture waiting. I've googled missed miscarriage and havne't had any luck finding that much info on symptoms or anything to help me better check my symptoms (or lack there of).

anyone can shed some light on missed miscarriage symptoms?

I don't have any information on a missed miscarriage but my sore boobs and nausea disappeared around the same time as yours has. Have you have your 12 week scan yet? Hugs xx

I haven't had my 12 week scan because I started my appointments earlier than usual becuase I was going out of town for my wedding and honeymoon. So the most recent scan was the CVS during week 12. I'm not going back in until week 16. The doctor only wants to see me every 4 weeks... arrrgghh.

Could u get a doppler i found baby from 9 weeks with angel sounds one

Symptoms will come and go throughout pregnancy. I have experienced this, as have many women on here also. You can find dozens of threads on the same topic. We all have worry but try to not to, i know, easier said than done. Maybe consider buying a doppler so you can check in on baby every now and then. I know I get a nervous a few weeks after each dr apt where I get to hear babys bh. Risk of mc at this point is only around 2%. I know for me I had to remind myself of that early on bc of all the sad losses I would read about on this site. Keep in mind this site represents a small portion of the pregnant population and while many bad things may seem more prevalent here they are not the "norm". Try not to stress, stress for you is stress for baby. :)

I had a rough first trimester, but suddenly felt great starting at 13-14 weeks. The sudden lack of symptoms can feel a bit alarming. I hadn't gained any weight either (I was actually less than my starting weight). However, my baby is perfectly healthy and thriving and it's most likely that yours is too! Try not to worry.

Around 13, 14 weeks your placenta takes over which often results in reduced symptoms. This can be a great thing! Very common and very normal. Missed miscarriages on the other hand are not common and more rare. I'm sure bubs is just fine in there :)

As the ladies have already said, symptoms subside around the beginning of second tri. This is the blissful, fun part. No morning sickness, tiredness or any of that nastiness. Just a growing belly, the start of feeling movement, and giddiness!
Midwife appointments don't tend to be that close, every 4 weeks sounds about right. In on my second and I won't see my midwife for 12 weeks!
Maybe try googling symptoms of pregnancy, or a week by week tracker. They will cover the changes in your body you should expect.
Weight also differs from woman to woman. Try not to worry flower

All my first trimester symptoms disappeared after 12 weeks, but everything is okay with LO. My nausea comes and it goes, but that's normal for second trimester.

I had a missed miscarriage. My symptoms got more intense - sickness was worse. The doctor said it was my body knowing that something was wrong and giving more hormones to try to fix it. Try not to worry, as others have said, around now the placenta takes over and you will feel a bit better x

I know everybody has their own symptoms but mmc are 'missed' as they don't have any symptoms of a miscarriage - some people carry on experiencing pregnancy symptoms and others who haven't developed any symptoms never do. It's normal that around the second tri people start to feel better than they did in the first tri

Also sites like this will always make miscarriages, missed or otherwise, seem much more common as ladies come on here to share their experiences and look for support. I've not met anybody irl who suffered a mmc like me yet on here I've made friends with a whole group if ladies who went through the exact same thing at the exact same time.

Symptoms often do die off after tri 1 because the hormones level out. It makes you feel less pregnant. I had 3 scans between my BFP and week 12 so had things to keep me going but after that, it's an 8 week wait until my 20 week scan. I was finding it hard to handle because about a week after every scan I started worrying about mmc, having had two early ones previously. I only felt I was as pregnant as my last scan.

Now, I'm 16 weeks and getting occasional movements from the baby so that is reassuring me. I found it very hard around 14 weeks, because it was so long from my scan yet so far away from when I could expect to feel movements. My worry has eased now - I know it must be okay as of yesterday because I felt it then. It should get easier for you once movement is felt - but remember that can be as late as 22 weeks, so try not to worry if you don't feel it soon.

I was contemplating an early gender scan just to get a scan to check it's okay and people said 'oh don't be silly you've only got 4 weeks to wait now until your next one'. Clearly these are not women who spent their pregnancies worrying about mmc, because 4 weeks is a lifetime when you worry about mmc.

mmcs are rare by trimester 2 but I think the worrying is more about your own state of mind, perhaps because of previous experiences like with me, and nothing will really reassure you until you get the next bit of proof that the baby is still okay.

positive thoughts. Ive never had sore boobs with my girls.
Everything got better at 14w with my last.

When I was early 2nd tri there was a big thread on symptoms disappearing. Seems to be Norma! For symptoms to come and go. I had no symptoms and no sign of a bump for a few weeks in 2nd tri x try not to worry

Stay positive hun:hugs:
I'm one of those annoying women who has never had any symptoms:haha: I only started feeling pregnant in the past few weeks after we found out he's a boy and I can feel him often.

Like everyone has said symptoms get better around that time. As for the no weight gain I am basically 19 weeks and I have only gained my first lb this week but baby is completely happy and healthy. I asked my midwife about the lack of weight gain and she said that it just means that the baby was taking the energy it needed to grow from my body so for him to gain weight and the placenta extra to grow so I was technically losing weight to counterbalance it hence the lack of weight gain.

Agree with the other poster - my MMC was discovered by scan... I still had all my symptoms (even for 2 weeks post D&C). So I wouldn't associate loss of symptoms with MMC... More placenta taking over and being in the second tri... life gets better for the majority of women in the second tri!!! xx

My boobes stopped being sore around 7 weeks and my nausea stopped before my 13th week I wouldn't worry symptoms come and go which is normal too in pregnancy. I also have suffered 2 previous missed mc's.
