My daughter is 2 months old and is currently on Enfamil reguline. She is pooping regularly now and is taking omeprazole for pretty bad reflux. About 50% of the time, maybe more, she struggles while on the bottle. Grunts and strains, opens her mouth and breaks the latch but cries when I take the bottle away. She doesn't eat much during these episodes because she just won't keep the latch and just lets the milk dribble out. Even if it's been hours since she last ate and ahe should be hungry, she'll only eat 2oz. Sometimes, when she's not having an episode, she'll eat 4-5oz. We've tried burping her, taking a break, changing positions, and nothing helps. Any suggestions or advice? It's driving me crazy!

Hi Mamma! Sorry you are going through this it is horrible and I know this is a month old but thought I'd still reply in case you were still having difficulties or in case someone else was searching. We had the exact same issue and found a mixture of several things helped: 1) It goes against all advice for reflux babies but found if we led her down and then turned her on the side it helped (specialist nurse said this was fine if it worked!). 2) Feeding her in the swaddle instantly helped. 3) Nexium is a wonder drug and helped a bunch. 4) Thickening the food also helped. So all those things together means we know have a very happy baby! Although we don't need to to the swaddle now and she will eat sitting up a bit but prefers to lie down now.

Hope you have already found a solution though!
