Can you bottlefeed your baby with a mixture of formula and breast milk?

And if you did breast feed for a period of time are you able to switch them onto formula after?

Not sure if you can combine breastmilk and formula.

But, yes, you can switch breastfed babies to formula :)

When Poppy was in Special Care I was expressing breastmilk which was given to her hourly through a tube. But in the first few days when my milk was only just coming in and I was only producing quite small amounts, she was fed a mixture of my breastmilk, plus Aptamil. So yes I presume it's fine to do that although I don't know whether if by mixing them in a bottle might make the milk taste a bit different so you might then have more trouble exclusively feeding her one or the other in the future???

Yes you babies can have a mixture of breast milk and formula, you can even give it to them mixed in the same bottle.

yes. you can mix breastfeed and formula. I am doing it at the moment.
