Hey ladies.
I had an anterior placenta with dd and I didn't feel her move until 20 odd weeks.

Now I have an anterior placenta again but I SWEAR I have felt baby move from 15+5. This is normally lower down and I'm wondering if it's under the placenta.

Has anyone else with an anterior felt movements so early?

it definitely is :) I had an anterior placenta with DS and started feeling his movements at 16 weeks!

I felt something around that time to the side as I was laying on, didnt feel anything after that til 21 week's but sure that time I did as must have been in a lucky position, I would say it's possible, especially as its your second :)

abdolutely 😊 my last couple have been Anterior but still felt baby fairly early x

I have an anterior placenta again which shocked me as I started feeling movements at 16 weeks. They were quite low down and to the side. Even now most of the movements I feel are around this area.

Anything is possible hun, you probably are feeling your little baby's dance moves haha enjoy x

Yep I too have an anterior placenta and felt Bub around that time so I'd say it's absolutely possible :)

I habe anterior placenta and I started feel movement as soon as I hit 14 weeks. I think mine is quite high so I get a lot of very strong movement low down and way out to the sides but when baby moves a bit higher up I do not feel nearly as much and its more like faint squirms. I am not 21+4 weeks and I do feel stronger movement from behind the placenta now but it feels like dull thuds deep inside, not the same as the kicks I get lower down.

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, especially since this isn't your first. :)

Thanks for giving me some hope Spud! I have an anterior placenta too and would love to feel some movement. Especially after seeing my little man having a full on dance party in there at my ultrasound last week.

I have an anterior placenta too but have been feeling peanut for the past week and I am 16+3, so its definitely possible xxx

I didn't but my nurse had an ap with both of her pregnancies and she said she she felt her babies at 15 weeks.

This is my third pregnancy, first anterior placenta and I actually felt movement earlier, although it was sporadic, and I could go days without feeling anything. Which is not a worry until 24 weeks.
